I was admitted to California Bar in 2014 and the New Jersey and New York Bars in 2015. I graduated with a bachelors degree from CSU, Long Beach with a double major in Chinese and Political Science. I later received a Juris Doctor from Univ. of San Diego, School of Law.
I volunteer at Legal Aid in the Low-Income Tax Clinic where I help under-privileged families navigate IRS rules, appellate procedures and, when necessary, represent them before the Tax Court. I also run a solo practice offering criminal defense, tax litigation and provide pro bono legal assistance to survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence.
I have written multiple academic articles on Chinese law, culture, environment, and politics, US and global environmental policy, trade, the United Nations and intellectual property. I was published twice in the County Bar organization magazine, For the Record. Currently, two of my articles are under review for publication.
